Azerbaijan Institute of Metrology confirmed the accuracy of scales in "Araz" supermarkets

The accuracy of the scales used in "Araz" supermarkets was checked and confirmed for the purpose of increasing customer satisfaction and more reliable protection of consumers' rights.

Based on the order of the "Araz" supermarket chain, the accuracy of the scales used in the supermarket chain was checked by the Azerbaijan Metrology Institute under the State Service of Antimonopoly and Consumer Market Control.

During the inspection of the measuring instruments in the branches belonging to the network, the accuracy of the scales was confirmed by the Azerbaijan Institute of Metrology, that they worked without errors, and the certificates about the inspection of the measuring instruments were presented to the stores.

In addition, a hologram and a QR code are placed on the scales to confirm the accuracy of the measuring tool. By scanning the QR code, consumers can obtain a certificate of accuracy of the scales. As a result, customers can be sure that the product they buy from "Araz" supermarkets is weighed correctly.

It should be noted that the verification of the accuracy of the scales using the QR code was carried out for the first time in "Araz" supermarkets in our country, and the scales were checked in 230 stores and the accuracy was confirmed.
