Safura Gafarova

She received her bachelor’s level in Azerbaijan State Pedagogical University on the specialty of “Biologist” in 2002, her master’s level in that University on the specialty of “Human and Animal Physiology” in 2008. She graduated from Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Montreux Business School of Switzerland in 2020.

She acted as certification/recertification auditor/general auditor on ISO 9001 “Quality Management System” in different (Construction, Designing, Production of non-food products, Oil and gas industry, Engineering, Boring, Laboratory and technical service to production equipment, Education, Communication, Insurance, Power engineering, Inspection of equipment, calibration and testing, etc.) companies since 2016, she was included in the Register of International Certified Auditors in appropriate direction (Certification no. 6131713).

She started to her professional activity in beer producing “Carlsberg Azerbaijan” subsidiary company of Denmark in Baku in 2008 and promoted till the position of Quality Assurance Manager. She worked in the positions of Director of Quality Department in “Avrora Group” in 2016-2017 and Quality Assurance/Quality Control Manager and Operations Deputy Director in “GILAN Industrial Group” in 2017-2020.

She participated in auditor training on the systems of Quality Management, Food Safety Management, Environmental Management, Labor Security Management and in international trainings on requirements about Risks Management, Competence of testing and calibration laboratories and on other subjects in different countries during her working activity.

Safura Gafarova joined to the team of Araz Supermarket LLC since 2020 and at present, she continues her activity as Head of Quality and Food Safety Management Department.
