The fresh meat sold at Araz supermarkets comes from healthy livestock raised in the Barda, Beylagan, Aghjabadi, and Imishli regions of Azerbaijan.
The animals are carefully selected by professional butchers and undergo thorough veterinary inspections before being sent, along with official health certificates, to licensed slaughterhouses.
There, the animals are slaughtered under fully hygienic conditions and in accordance with Islamic (Halal) principles, with the entire process supervised by experts from the Azerbaijan Food Safety Agency (AFSA).
To ensure the quality and safety of the meat, samples are regularly taken for laboratory testing. Only meat that passes these safety and quality standards is chilled, rested, and then transported to stores under a strict cold chain system, where it is offered to customers.
