The meat products offered for sale across the “Araz” supermarket chain come from healthy animals sourced from various regions of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
Animals selected by professional butchers undergo veterinary inspection and, together with the veterinary certificate issued for the transportation of live animals, are sent to slaughterhouses registered by the Food Safety Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
The slaughtering process is carried out in hygienic conditions, in accordance with applicable regulatory requirements and with due consideration of Islamic rules, under the supervision of veterinary specialists registered with the Food Safety Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
To ensure the quality and safety of meat products, relevant samples are taken and submitted for laboratory analysis. Only products that meet the required standards are rested in refrigerated conditions and then delivered to points of sale while maintaining the cold chain.
