"Araz" market

The Araz supermarket chain continues to provide customers with fresh and high-quality agricultural products through its “From Field to Shelf” strategy.
This approach ensures that products are sourced directly from farmers and delivered straight to stores, eliminating intermediaries. This not only helps reduce costs and save time for farmers but also allows customers to access fresh fruits and vegetables at affordable prices. One of the key benefits of this strategy is the transparent and direct cooperation with local farmers. Let’s hear how the farmers themselves evaluate this collaboration.

Farmer Isfendi Arifov:

“We hope to maintain a long-term partnership with Araz.”

As part of the “From Field to Shelf” strategy, Araz delivers agricultural products directly from farms to stores. The company supports local farmers by simplifying their access to markets and increasing the visibility of locally grown produce.

One of the farmers who supplies fresh products to Araz and appreciates the successful cooperation is Isfendi Arifov from the Beylagan region. He is mainly engaged in the production of grapes, pomegranates, and vegetables:

“We have 20 hectares of vineyards and 186 hectares of pomegranate orchards. Additionally, we grow cabbage, tomatoes, cucumbers, and red beets on 40 hectares.”

Isfendi Arifov began his collaboration with Araz in 2024:

“I consider our partnership successful. We have built a smooth and organized working system. The company places orders in advance and informs us of the required quantity. For example, they may say: ‘We need 20 tons of pomegranates for tomorrow.’ We prepare and deliver accordingly.
We sincerely hope to continue this cooperation with Araz.
We would like to express our deep gratitude to the management for creating such a structured and efficient partnership.”

Farmer Samir Piriyev:

“Thanks to Araz, our products go directly from the field to the shelf.”

Another long-term supplier of fruits and vegetables is Samir Piriyev, a farmer from the Shamkir region, who has been engaged in agriculture for over 10 years:

“I have 40 hectares of fruit orchards where we grow cherries, apricots, nectarines, quinces, and strawberries. In addition, we operate 10 hectares of greenhouses where we grow colored bell peppers, ‘Charleston’ peppers, cucumbers, and tomatoes.”

He has been working with Araz for nearly 5 years:

“We are extremely satisfied with our partnership. Araz has significantly simplified our operations.
Previously, we had no time to take our produce to the market ourselves. One of the main advantages of working with Araz is that they inform us in advance of the required volume. We harvest, pack, and neatly deliver the products directly to the stores.
This way, we don't need to look for buyers or spend money on delivery. Our produce also doesn’t go to waste — Araz buys it in time.
Thanks to this partnership, our products are delivered directly from the field to the shelves.
I’m grateful to Araz for their continued support of local farmers.”
