Winners of the “Araz” AI Challenge 2025 Were Awarded

The award ceremony for the winners of the “Araz” AI Challenge – 2025, organized by the “Araz” supermarket chain, part of Veysəloğlu Group, has been held. The purpose of the competition was to develop the skills of young people and creative individuals in using artificial intelligence tools, to combine creativity with technology, and to support strategic initiatives related to innovation, digitalization, and artificial intelligence at the national level.

Nearly 150 photo, video, and audio projects were submitted to the competition. A total of 9 winners were selected — 3 in each category — and 5 participants were awarded encouragement prizes.

Speaking at the event, Rəşad İbrahimov, Chairman of the Board of the “Araz” supermarket chain, emphasized that artificial intelligence is one of the key drivers of the rapidly evolving global technological landscape and is already being applied across various areas of the company’s operations. According to him, extensive work carried out in the country to build an AI ecosystem and drive digital transformation has inspired the company toward even greater goals:

“The ‘Araz’ supermarket chain continuously supports young people through initiatives and innovative projects to foster the development of this field in our country. The ‘Araz’ AI Challenge – 2025 offers creative individuals a unique opportunity to test their ideas on a real brand and enhance their skills in working with AI tools.”

The submitted photo, audio, and video projects were evaluated by a professional jury specializing in artificial intelligence, based on specific criteria. During the selection process, the jury considered creativity, technical execution, the level of AI tool usage, and alignment of the ideas with the brand’s values.
