A delegation led by the Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to Azerbaijan, Marian de Jong, visited the head office of the “Araz” supermarket chain. During the meeting, Ambassador Marian de Jong highlighted the presence of a vibrant and dynamic economic environment in Azerbaijan, noting that Dutch companies show strong interest in being represented in the country and expanding cooperation with local businesses. She emphasized that, in this context, cooperation with the “Araz” supermarket chain is of great importance.
Chairman of the Board of “Araz” supermarket chain, Rashad Ibrahimov, informed the participants about the activities of “Veysəloğlu” Group of Companies, its development directions, and the projects implemented in the retail sector. He noted that “Araz” is open to cooperation with international partners and is actively exploring new opportunities to provide consumers with high-quality products.
Within the framework of the meeting, the parties discussed establishing direct cooperation with Dutch producers, developing intercompany relations, and organizing business missions. At the same time, they exchanged views on strengthening ties with Dutch financial institutions and exploring franchise-based cooperation opportunities with leading Dutch companies.
The parties stated that this cooperation will contribute to the development of business relations between Azerbaijan and the Netherlands, expansion of mutual trade opportunities, and further strengthening of economic cooperation.
