Araz supermarket chain continues to implement projects aimed at environmental protection and ecological sustainability. In this regard, the “Card to Art” social and environmental project has now been launched in Khankendi, organized by Tamiz Shahar OJSC with the support of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources and Araz supermarket chain.
As part of the project, a special collection box for used plastic cards has been placed at the Araz supermarket in Khankendi.
Residents of Khankendi can contribute to reducing plastic waste in the region by depositing expired plastic cards (such as bank, transport, and discount cards) into the designated boxes at the store.
It should be noted that the plastic cards collected through these special boxes placed in various locations will be handed over to creative artists and transformed into unique works of art. These artworks will later be showcased at the “Card to Art” exhibition to be held at the “From Waste to Art” Museum established under the initiative of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation.
