As part of the Veyseloglu Group of Companies (VGC), Araz supermarket chain has visited the families of its martyred employees on the occasion of Victory Day and the 5th anniversary of the Patriotic War.
The visits were attended by Rashad Ibrahimov, Chairman of the Management Board of Araz supermarket chain, along with members of the Management Board and other senior executives. They met with the families and parents of the martyred employees living in Baku and various regions, showing care and interest in their well-being.
The families expressed deep appreciation for the continuous attention and moral support provided by Araz supermarket chain. They emphasized that the company has always treated the families of martyrs with great respect and compassion.
It should be noted that nine employees of Araz supermarket chain heroically sacrificed their lives during the battles for the liberation of Shusha, Khojavand, Fuzuli, Jabrayil, and Gubadli. Among them is Vugar Aghayev, who was awarded the title of Hero of the Patriotic War. Each of the martyred employees was honored with various orders and medals for their bravery.
Currently, about 200 veterans of the Patriotic War are employed within Araz supermarket chain, which takes great pride in working alongside them.
