The “Araz” supermarket chain, a member of the Veysəloğlu Group of Companies, has been awarded the “Dayaq” Prize, presented under the motto “Strength Lies in Business” with the support of the Ministry of Economy and organized by the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBİA). The award was granted to the company in the nomination “Disability Is Not a Limitation.”
“Araz” was honored for its initiatives in promoting the employment of persons with disabilities, as well as for implementing a corporate approach based on inclusivity and equal opportunities.
In 2025, the “Dayaq” Prize was presented to business entities that apply innovative and modern approaches in their operations, produce export-oriented products and services, demonstrate active investment activity, and contribute to employment generation.
It should be noted that the “Dayaq” Prize, established by KOBİA in 2022, aims to more broadly showcase to society the achievements of entrepreneurs who serve as a pillar of the economy, promote a business-oriented mindset, and further strengthen cooperation between the public and private sectors. This award highlights the value created by entrepreneurs in the areas of sustainable development, innovation, and social responsibility.
