Dear followers, with the support of Araz supermarket chain, organized by Tamiz Shahar JSC and in cooperation with the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of Azerbaijan, the “Card to Art” social and environmental project has been launched.
As part of the project, special collection boxes for expired plastic cards are being placed in Araz supermarket branches. The first box has already been installed at the Qutqashınlı Superstore branch.
The initiative aims to prevent discarded plastic cards from polluting the environment, to promote environmental awareness, and to bring together all parties involved in the use of plastic cards for a greener future.
Collected cards will be handed over to creative individuals, who will transform them into works of art. These artworks will be displayed at the “Card to Art” exhibition in the “From Waste to Art” Museum, established by Tamiz Shahar JSC at the initiative of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation.
