“Araz” Supermarket Chain, a member of Veysaloglu Group of Companies, continues its initiatives aimed at environmental protection and ecological sustainability.
The next “Exchange Waste for Gifts” festival was held with the support of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources, Baku State University, and “Araz” Supermarket Chain.
The purpose of the event was to raise public awareness about proper waste management, sorting, and recycling, as well as to encourage active youth participation in ecological initiatives.
The festival, held at Baku State University, attracted great interest from students, young people, and citizens. During the event, participants collected and exchanged 3,410 liters of plastic waste, 685 liters of glass waste, and 1,481 used batteries for “Araz” eco-bags, TAC products, and various other gifts.
Interactive educational activities were also organized as part of the festival. This initiative serves as a vivid example of contributing to the development of environmental culture, increasing civic responsibility, and promoting proper waste management.
